Catie Lewis is an Austin-based artist from South Carolina. Her work explores her Filipino identity that she reconnected with after meeting her birth family six years ago and her identity as a child growing up in America.
Her work can open opportunities for self-awareness, social awareness, and self-management, due to the focus of her work. Students can relate and empathize with her experiences and, potentially, their own experiences reflected in her work.
